Coverage & delivery times

7feastr Logistics delivers door to door within Nigeria. This page lists the states we serve, explains how individual addresses are checked, and sets out the delivery times you can promise your customers.

Country

We deliver within Nigeria only. Both the pickup and the dropoff address must be in Nigeria. International shipping is not available.

States we serve

We serve 34 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT):

Not yet served: Kebbi and Yobe. Quotes with a pickup or dropoff in these states return 422 unserviceable.

Writing the state

pickupState and dropoffState are free text, so you can pass the state the way your customers type it. These spellings are all accepted:

Different spellings of the same state are matched, so Lagos and Lagos State (or Abuja and FCT) count as a same-state trip, and tripType comes back as intrastate.

Pass a real street address in pickupAddress / dropoffAddress and the town or area in pickupCity / dropoffCity. We locate every address before pricing it.

Door delivery by LGA

Doorstep pickup and door delivery are offered by local government area (LGA). A state being served does not guarantee that every address in it is: some LGAs are not yet covered for door service.

Every quote checks both addresses. When either one falls outside our door-delivery areas, POST /rates/estimate returns 422 unserviceable with a message that names the problem, such as "We don't offer door dropoff at this address in … yet". A state we don't serve returns a message such as:

Nothing is saved or charged when a quote is unserviceable.

Delivery times

Every quote returns etaDays and an etaAt timestamp. ETAs are whole days, based on the trip type and the driving distance between the two addresses:

tripType is intrastate when the pickup and dropoff states match and interstate otherwise. Interstate ETAs can be longer than the tier minimum when the drive itself takes longer.

A shipment created with scheduledAt is picked up at the scheduled time. After pickup, GET /shipments/:id/eta returns the current estimate. See Tracking.
