New fields, endpoints and events. All changes are additive, so existing integrations keep working.

New fields

• declaredValue on POST /rates/estimate and POST /shipments: the value of the goods in NGN, used for insurance cover. It is echoed on quotes and shipments.
• deliveryEvents on shipments: delivery progress as { description, at }, newest first. See Delivery events.
• pickupBooked on shipments and on the shipment.created webhook: true once the pickup is confirmed on our delivery network.
• proofOfDeliveryAvailable on shipments: true when a delivery photo or signature can be downloaded.

New endpoints

• GET /shipments/:id/proof-of-delivery/photo and GET /shipments/:id/proof-of-delivery/signature return the delivery photo and the recipient's signature as images. See Proof of delivery.

Webhook delivery

• Every webhook body now has an id (stable across retries) and a createdAt (when the event happened), plus X-7feastr-Event, X-7feastr-Event-Id and X-7feastr-Delivery-Attempt headers. Use id to ignore duplicates and createdAt to ignore stale updates.
• Events are saved before they are sent and retried for 6 attempts over about 8.5 hours (previously 4 attempts over 35 minutes), so they survive restarts on our side. See Retries.
• Different spellings of the same state (Lagos / Lagos State, Abuja / FCT) count as one state for tripType.
• After a 402 insufficient_funds, the quote stays valid for the rest of its 10 minutes, so you can fund your wallet and retry with the same quoteId.

New webhook event

• shipment.tracking_update, sent with each new delivery event. See Webhooks.

New error codes

• 422 unserviceable: we don't deliver to that state, or don't offer door service at that address yet. See Coverage.
• 503 service_unavailable: our delivery network is temporarily unavailable. Retry with backoff.

Automatic refunds

• Cancelling a shipment with POST /shipments/:id/cancel before a rider is assigned now refunds the full price to your wallet automatically, and sends shipment.cancelled and shipment.refunded.
